Reading Notes Do Not Need to Be Complete. Leave Searchable Anchors First.
Contents
Reading notes often become a burden because we want every one of them to be a complete summary.
For long-term accumulation, a more realistic approach is to keep anchors first:
- which chapter is worth returning to
- which concept connects with the project at hand
- which sentence changed your judgment
Those searchable anchors are often much easier to sustain than trying to finish a polished long-form summary in one sitting.
